You can also link directly to Company Profiles from both your BSI and EBSCOhost profiles.

For instructions on how to set up the links, please see the following FAQs, or contact Technical Support for assistance using the contact information at the end of this message:
Whether you set up the links yourself, or enlist the assistance of EBSCO’s Technical Support team, you have the option to choose from a series of buttons designed to represent the links on your web page(s). Important New Content on Food Safety
Food safety is a major concern these days, with an estimated 75 million-plus food-related illnesses recorded in the United States alone each year. Today there are added worries due to increased potential for food contamination on the global market, the prospect of terrorism against the food supply, and the lack of adequate regulation of food products and handling. Our new essays on food safety will be invaluable to students and library patrons wanting to learn about and avoid what can be very serious illnesses. Users will find current statistics about food-borne illnesses, facts and analysis of current food safety regulations, and helpful tips for avoiding common infections. The new illustrations–including charts and graphs detailing rates of infection, as well as illustrations and diagrams providing visual reference on the pathogens responsible–can be added to handouts in classrooms to make this topic more accessible to students.New entries include:

One of the best ways to enable research within federated search is to show which results are full text and/or peer–reviewed. After years of experiencing the frustration of trying to work with content providers to obtain reliable metadata to improve the “Full-Text” and “Peer Reviewed” filters in 360 Search, we finally decided that we’d take a different route to solve the problem and improve the discovery experience using our own methods.
I am excited to announce that we will soon launch enhanced “Full-Text” and “Peer Reviewed” filters that resolve these metadata problems and leverage the authoritative data of Ulrich’s and KnowledgeWorks. The combination of these two authoritative sources will enhance the accuracy of these filters, enabling a better research experience for your patrons.
· If your library has these filters turned OFF, and want them turned back on please simply contact us through the Support Center (http://support.serialssolutions.com) or at clients@serialssolutions.com.
· If you are a subscriber that has these filters already on, the enhancement will not require any action and your patrons will experience more success when using these filters.
We will email all 360 Search users once this enhancement is released and available, within the next several days.
This upcoming release represents a significant development in our effort to create a more robust and full-featured federated search service through the integration of 360 Search and WebFeat. For more information about the status of the integration, I encourage you to sign up for updates at http://support.serialssolutions.com/cgi-bin/serialssolutions.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=608.

Dear EBSCO Customer,
We’re excited to announce the upcoming and existing availability of these EBSCOhost enhancements:
Coming Soon: Zero Results Prevention
Zero Results Prevention can be enabled within EBSCOadmin to run whenever a query returns no results. Alternately, users can set a Preference during an EBSCOhost session for Zero Results Prevention to function this way. For details on this new functionality, click here. (Trouble using this link? Try pasting this URL into your browser: http://support.epnet.com/support_news/detail.php?id=515&t=r&page=1.)
Search Box Builder
Did you know that you can create a search box to give users instant access to your valuable EBSCO online resources from EBSCO, which can be placed on any library web page. Read more about it, view the brief video and FAQ details, on this page. (If your email is in plain text and you cannot use this link, copy and paste this URL into your browser to access the page: http://www.ebscohost.com/thisTopic.php?marketID=1&topicID=1207.)
Ten Minute Training
This popular series of very short (ten minutes, really) online training sessions, each focusing on a specific EBSCOhost feature or functionality, is back for spring! The next session will be for library administrators who have access to EBSCOadmin, and wish to learn how to set up a default start page in EBSCOhost. The Default Start Page session will be held on Wednesday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. If you are a library administrator with access to the EBSCOadmin module for your account, please reply to this email with your name, title and institution name to register.
Visit EBSCO’s Support Site (http://support.ebscohost.com) to learn about new features, search among thousands of FAQs, download Flash tutorials, Help Sheets or User Guides, or communicate with Technical Support at any time, using the EBSCO Support Form:(http://support.ebscohost.com/contact/askus.php).

New look for anatomy.tv
|
|
|
|

|
| As your institution has a licence to anatomy.tv, we wanted to let you know there is going to be a new look to the navigation area on site by the end of March 2009.
Based on feedback from our subscribers we have created a new and improved design which we hope will make it easier to find your way around the site.
In addition to the new look we are also introducing new faculty and student areas which will contain content to help you make the most of this resource. Content will include ‘how to’ guides – how to export images for presentations for example, FAQ’s, case studies and other useful content.
There will be no change to the way you currently login and access the service or to the content and functionality of the titles within your package.
Please let us know if there is anything that would make using the site easier for you. Any feedback and suggestions would be much appreciated.
In the meantime if you have any questions or comments regarding the new design navigation page please contact us
Best regards,
Primal Pictures team |
Here’s a sneak preview of how the new navigation page will look:

- The titles that are included in your license package will appear in bold with a green tick on the left.
- Quickly access content in the Faculty and Student areas by clicking on the tabs at the top of the page.
- Help and FAQs are also easily accessed direct from the navigation page.
